Get to know

Shasta is the doe I was given to from Dennis and Robin Herrell to start the journey into the French Alpine breed. I was also given a semen tank with some historical French Alpines in it. I have done tons of research and talked with some of the breeders on the phone to gather more information about these genetics.
The French Alpines were originally my sister, Rachael's, choice in the goats. However, to carry on the IR-Ranch herd name I took on the challenge of learning the breed and genetics. I hope you enjoy looking at a couple of pages GCH IR-Ranch NCS Sarah and SGCH IR-Ranch Exodus's Deva pages to see where some of our goats go back to. All the alpines go back to IR-Ranch You Don't Say which is the Dam to Shasta. You Don't Say was the full genetic sister to GCH IR-Ranch NCS Sarah.
