Roger's Dam: IR-Ranch Sul Fantastic

2026 Show Record

Roger's grand sire, Sultan 90 VEE. His full brother, SGCH Sulten daughters in PJ-Bailey’s herd excelled in smooth front ends, straight tracking front legs, levelness over the top and superbly attached mammary systems. He improves milk production also. Not only that these brother’s LA scores are almost identical. Let’s talk about consistency in these brothers looking alike. Their sire, GCH Hill N Holler M. Nucleus. Our foundation buck can be found a few generations back in Fascination’s pedigree back up towards the front of the pedigree!!! However, their dam, GCH Selena VEVE 90 freshened with one of the prettiest udders that my parents had seen. Beautiful fore udder with lots of rear attachment. Her rear udder height score was a 46!!! She also milked very well at around 16 pounds a day. Her dam was tenth place four-year-old at the 1998 Nationals.

Roger's granddam, Fascination, on both sides of the pedigree is a daughter of USDA Elite sire, Pleasant Grove RR All Star Jam and granddaughter of 2 time National Premier Sire and USDA Elite Sire, SGCH Marran Rose's Rochester. Fascination’s dam is CH Pleasant Grove Machine Fixed EX91, who was 3rd/3rd udder at the National Show as both a 3 year old and 5 year old. That makes Fascination a maternal sister to USDA Elite Sire and 2021 National Premier Sire Pleasant Grove RR Freeze Frame.

Roger's sire's sire, Azumi is the son of GCH Arugula, the dam of the ADGA National Champion/Best Udder, was also a strong milker with three 3000+ lactations. GCH Arugula also won Best Udder in Show three times at the Minnesota State Fair as well as having won two udder placings at the National Show (1st Yearling, 3rd 3-yr old).  The National show placings keep on going! GCH Arugula’s dam, GCH Kara Kahl Sauvignon Aware was one of our most accomplished does in the show ring, winning Best in Show at least 6 times over her career, and placing 3rd in the aged doe class at the 2012 National Show.

Azumi's full genetic sister, GCH Akebono, who was the 2021 ADGA National Champion and his sire was the 2021 ADGA National Premier Sire who sired the 2021 Jr. ADGA National Champion. Now let’s take a closer look at Akimoto’s Dam, GCH Akebono the 2021 ADGA National Champion and Best Udder. A month later she appraised 94 EEEE, joining only two other Alpines to score that high. She has also won the Highest Lifetime Production at the 2001 Minnesota State Fair, at over 17,000 lbs. to date.  She ended her year just 30 lbs. shy of 4000 lbs. At the 2024 National Show Age doe, she earned Top Butterfat while placing 3rd in her class with 2nd place Udder as an aged doe.
